Elephant Dung Cards

These cards made from elephant dung paper provide local women in Mfuwe, Zambia (just outside of South Luangwa National Park) employment. The proceeds from their sale also goes back into wildlife conservation through contributions to the South Luangwa Conservation Society (www.slcs-zambia.org). Their creator and photographer is Alison Cockerell, who works in the Luangwa Valley. For more on Alison and her elephant dung paper project see Mama Tembo Times February 2010.
